Please welcome the special guests for “30 DAI-WA-HODOHODO,” the 3DVR/multi-angle 2D live-viewing event to be held for the first time in Japan by Utada Hikaru.
KOHH, the featured artist for ‘Boukyaku’ in album “Fantôme,” and PUNPEE, a DJ who has appeared in an event for cover album “Utada Hikaru No Uta” (released in 2014) and calls himself her big fan, will be joining in the event on Dec. 9!

Here comes Utada Hikaru's internet event to take place on her debut memorial day (“Automatic/time will tell” was released on Dec. 9, 1998). Thanks to all of you, Utada Hikaru – in her 30’s – will hold an internet event again this year. The event will include her studio live performance as well. It will be viewed in a GYAO! app (or an internet browser) with one of the following 3 specs: 1) 180-degree three-dimensional virtual reality (3DVR) – for the first time in Japan! –, 2) multi-angle 2D, or 3) normal 2D*.

Utada Hikaru Appears in New Music Video of "Hanataba Wo Kimini"
A new version of the music video of “Hanataba Wo Kimini” (title tune of NHK drama serial “Toto Nee-Chan: Fatherly Sister”) is revealed, featuring Utada Hikaru herself. The video marks her first public video appearance since her return to the music scene.
The music video is directed by Wataru Takeishi, who was also behind a number of other videos including “Addicted To You” and “Wait & See -Risk-” plus various live videos from Utada Hikaru in the past, and “Hanataba Wo Kimini” is the first music video he has directed for the artist since “Prisoner Of Love.
Details of the New Original Album are Revealed!
The title, track listing, cover artwork and artist photo are revealed for the 1st original album in approximately eight and a half years!
The album is entitled “Fantôme” (French for ‘phantom’). It consists of 11 tracks including “Hanataba Wo Kimini”, “Manatsu No Tooriame” and “Sakura Nagashi” that have been previously made available, plus 8 new original songs. Stay tuned for more info about the songs!

Utada Hikaru Releases Her 6th Original Full Album, First in 8 Years, on Sep. 28!!
Utada Hikaru’s first original full album in 8 years is finally taking shape! The tracklisting will include “Hanataba Wo Kimini” (title tune of NHK drama serial “Toto Nee-Chan: Fatherly Sister”, which achieved No. 1 on 107 different charts in and outside of Japan), "Manatsu No Tooriame" (theme song of Nippon Television “NEWS ZERO”) and “Sakura Nagashi” (the single that came out digitally in November 2012 as the theme song of “Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo”). These three songs will be made available on CD for the first time, and all of the other on the album will be newly written works.

Music video (short version) for "Hanataba Wo Kimini" finally completed! Released today!
“Hanataba Wo Kimini” is the theme song of the NHK morning drama “Toto Nē-chan.”
The music video is an animation that perfectly synchronizes the music and the works of Keiko Tsuji, “kirie” (paper cutting) artist who did the paper cutouts for the opening sequence of “Toto Nē-chan.”
The short version video is the same length as the opening sequence of the TV drama.
The video is released first on this website and the GYAO! video website and is now available for viewing.
